Loyalty Evening

On Thursday 27th November, between 4.30pm and 7.30pm, we have our loyalty evening where you can receive 15% discount if you have a loyalty card.

Wine and nibbles available.

Don't have a loyalty card yet? Don't worry, simply collect your Cobham Bookshop receipts. On presentation of £50 worth of receipts we will issue a loyalty card, which gives the bearer 5% discount on all books and stationery.

Meg GardinerMeg Gardiner will be visiting the Cobham Bookshop on 22nd October between 6 and 8 pm to sign copies of her latest book "The Dirty Secrets Club". The paperback edition is due out on the 16th October.      

Come along for a glass of wine and the opportunity to chat to our local crime writer.

John Jessop Signing

On the following Saturday, 25th October, The Cobham Bookshop will welcome Esher-based author John Jessop. John's new paperback TALES FROM THE SOUTH PIER reveals the action and intrigue of the cut-throat world of international financial information. Having worked in both London and New York, with 18 years spent at Reuters, John's book offers expert insights into the market along with incredible anecdotes about the innovations, scandals and characters of the past few decades.

He has played a part in the electronic revolution that has led to globalisation and the creation of a radical amount of wealth. TALES FROM THE SOUTH PIER is a recommended read for fans of CITYBOY and all those with their finger on the economic pulse. John will be signing copies of his book from 2pm until 4pm.

Fans of Meg and John's work can now also share their enthusiasm with other readers on The Cobham Bookshop's new website at The Reader's Room. This is a forum for customers and staff to share book recommendations and write reviews.
